Look Inside

What is "Look Inside"?

The ‘Look Inside’ feature offers a high quality PDF reading experience, similar to that of Adobe Acrobat PDFs on SpringerLink, without requiring any software installation or incurring the timely expense of downloading the entire PDF. Researchers may be familiar with similar functionality that Google Books’ “Preview this book” offers. All elements of the book are stitched together in one reader, including the cover image, any front matter, any back matter and every chapter from every part of the eBook. A user can quickly glean the nature of the document by scanning thumbnails in the viewer to assess the length and complexity of a document, find a table, graph or image needed for specific research or easily view bibliographic references.

Does "Look Inside" require any special software?

No, there is no need to install or use Adobe Reader or any browser plug-in to view the full text.

Can I increase the size of the text or an image within the text?

Yes, simply click on the toolbar buttons to zoom in to meet low-vision needs or to zoom out to facilitate faster scanning.
